Saby’s Quilt is a warm creative home that brings together all my passions in one beautiful place. It’s where my books and my art live side by side — heartfelt story collections for adults and gentle tales for children, alongside original illustrations and watercolor paintings. Everything here is stitched from the same thread: a deep love for life, comfort, and quiet wisdom.

This website is my quilt — a gathering place for stories and art that wrap you in warmth and remind you of life’s simple beauty. Whether you’re here for a cozy read or to browse the art, I’m so glad you’ve arrived.

Our Mission

To create beautiful, soul-nourishing stories, books, and art that wrap people in warmth, wisdom, and wonder — just like a handmade quilt.

Through heartfelt writing, gentle fables, and original illustrations, Saby’s Quilt exists to:

  • Offer comfort and encouragement to hearts of all ages

  • Preserve and re-tell wisdom from many traditions in a fresh, loving way

  • Spark joy, reflection, kindness, and imagination

  • Remind readers (and viewers) that they are not alone, that beauty still exists, and that small, ordinary moments often hold the greatest meaning

Whether through adult story collections like Wise Quilt and Wisdom Patches, gentle children’s books like Lamb, Allie’s Corner, and Counting the Beans, or original art and illustrations — every piece is stitched with the same intention:

To leave you a little warmer, a little wiser, and a little more hopeful than when you arrived.

The quilt keeps growing — one story, one painting, one patch at a time. ❤️

Meet the Heart of Saby’s Quilt: My Love for Life!

Reading.jpg

At the center of every story, every fable, and every illustration is a simple, deep love for life — the ordinary, beautiful, sometimes messy, always meaningful kind.

I believe life is full of quiet miracles: a child’s laughter, a perfectly ripe strawberry, the warmth of bread baked with love, the courage found in small moments, and the wisdom hidden in everyday struggles. My greatest joy is gathering these pieces — like colorful fabric scraps — and stitching them into stories that feel like a warm quilt around your shoulders

.Whether I’m writing for grown-ups who need reminding that they’re not alone, or creating gentle tales for little hearts, everything I make comes from the same place: a grateful heart that still gets excited by sunsets, good stories, and the goodness that refuses to disappear from this world.

This is more than books and art.

This is my love letter to life — shared with you, one cozy patch at a time.
